Lessons are definitely the key to fun on a mountain, for young ones, at least. The instructors, whether college students or long time ski veterans, always know what to do and say to really enhance the experience. They’re fun people with a lot of knowledge to share. I’ve taken lessons myself, and I plan on taking more. They’re re very patient, and know how to have a good time. You can count on them to instill confidence in whoever they teach, and they always have great stories.

definitely lessons. maybe group lessons (if hes not shy)…and just let him decide where he wants to ski so its what he likes not what you like :]

I reccomend lessens,the resort I work at has a wonderful program for kids and the instructors know what they are doing.If you try to teach him yourself there is a good chance that none of you will enjoy yourself.
