Snow Skiing

11
In January I was Skiing in Italy and broke my lower leg in 4 places. Apparently the break was caused by my bone twisting rather than the landing itself.

I assume that my foot was stopped from turning by the ski and my body twisted as I fell. Something had to give and it was my leg. At the time I was on a not very steep slope and not going that fast, the snow was a bit patchy and I think my ski hit some earth and I tipped forwards and to one side.

I am an agressive skier, was planning on going out west but want to stay more east. I want some good skiing at a decent price, like everyone else! Any suggestions?

Hello,
My family is looking forward to take a vacation this winter break and we are looking into a skiing trip.
I need to find the best deal possible for a day’s skiing lesson& rental equipment. Also, it has to be in Northern California, thereabouts.
Thanks!
Please input any useful information!

I want to live in MN one day (I love cold weather) but I also love skiing. I don’t expect it to be as good as Colorado, but how does it compare?

I want to get new twin tips and start skiing in the park, but I don’t know if I there are bindings specific to the park. I’ll use the skis both in and out of the park, and I’m new to freestyle skiing. Please help!

I’m looking for a pair of skis that i can use 2 do jumps, rails, etc, but still are decent for skiing normal slopes. Obviously they need duel tips, and preferably not to expensive. i’m an advanced skier, but i’m not very picky when it comes to skis. any help here would be appreciated.

Any tips on ways to make skiing more fun for a five year old boy?
I love it, and we’re going in two weeks to a resort around an hour from our home.

I love to ski, and I subscribed to ski magazine last year. Now that it’s time to re-subscribe, I’m curious about Skiing magazine. What is the difference in content between the two magazines? Do they have a slightly different focus?
